The new concept for providing election sundries

Shaw's now supply their Presiding Officer's Sundries in reusable zipped nylon bags, included in which is a 'pencil case' stationery holder for the smaller items.

Empty bags and stationery holders can be returned to Shaw's and credits will be issued against all items that are deemed suitable for re-use. These credits can then be used against future orders of complete sundries packs.

For those who wish to keep their bags, refill packs are also available to purchase.

Benefits of the new packaging solution

• Reusable. Made from 70D nylon, the bag and stationery holder are long lasting and ideal for a variety of uses.
• Less waste. Unlike the boxes, there is no need to dispose of the packaging after the election.
• Easier to handle. The bags are less bulky than boxes, allowing you to carry more.
• Reduced distribution costs. The streamlined, ergonomic design of the new bag allows for cheaper postage and distribution costs.
• Display window. The bag features a display window (accessed from inside the bag) allowing you to customise each bag (standardised wording will be supplied for each election type).
• Stationery holder. The matching stationery holder offers a more practical solution for all the smaller essential items used at the polling station.
